Mean Girls

Five reasons  why Mean Girls is Legendary.

A scandal-plagued star with nostalgia appeal.

Anyone remember when Lindsay Lohan was a talented sweet former child star? Well that all went downhill after this movie. Mean Girls was definitely the high light of her career. Now people can't help but follow what train wreck she's gotten herself into. It's rather sad how far she's fallen but she did have a part in making a great movie so at least she has that on her resume if nothing else.

The hilarious duo
Tina Fey's and Amy Poehler have stared in many movies together sense but nothing will ever top their roles in Mean Girls. You get rid of one part of the movie it wouldn't be the same, and that goes for lovely duo. It's hard to imagine a time where the two didn't star side by side, it's a funny world with them together. This movie started the launch for the hilarious duo.

Rachel McAdams
She's a genius and if you don't believe me just check The Notebook, Red Eye, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Vow, About Time, or any other movie she's been in. If it wasn't for her this movie wouldn't be as good. She brought Regina to life and it would have been a shame if she had been cast as Cady like she originally auditions. Mean Girls really helped get her name out and she proved herself by following the famous role of Regina with many other memorable roles there after.

A universally relatable message
Although the movie is known for its famous quotes and sketchy, characters the plot actually has a serious note to it. The slightly dramatized scenarios that play out in the plot could have been taken from any high school in the world. I mean how true is that lunchroom chart? Anyone who ever sat in a high school lunchroom can relate to at least one of the characters. I know when I watch I also go through who fit what character from my school.
